For Thanksgiving this year my grandma came to visit. She lives in New Hampshire and I see her maybe once a year, so I wanted to plan a couple of fun activities – that weren’t the typical tourist stuff – to do while she was in town. We had wine flight and truffle pairings at Vosges (highly recommended), appetizers and drinks at my apartment, dinner at a new restaurant in River North, and took a trip to Restoration Hardware at The Three Arts Club.
The flagship Chicago store of RH is not a store, it’s an experience. Located in The Three Arts Club, a 70,000-square-foot landmark building, it’s not to be missed. Furniture and decor are beautifully arranged in rooms that look like they’re right out of Pinterest. It’s as if you’re wandering through a museum, but are allowed to touch, sit, lay and take pictures. In addition to shopping (or window shopping) and interior design services, there’s also a cafe in the middle of the building. Unfortunately, we did not have time to stop in, but it’s on the list.
Check out this amazing space. . .
